Michael A. Withell is a law graduate and ersatz author from Beverley, England. He mostly writes science-fiction but has a keen interest in Modernist and Classical literature.

He has recently had stories published by 'Mossy Hearth Magazine', 'Linguistic Erosion' and 'Farther Stars Than these'.

His main influences are James Joyce, T.S. Eliot, William Faulkner and Philip K. Dick.
